Bostik Flashband Self Adhesive Flashing Tape for Roofs is a flexible bitumen strip that bonds instantly to most building materials to provide a permanent, watertight seal. It is ideal for new build, maintenance and repair projects, and can withstand extreme temperatures of up to 100°C.
Flashband has four layers of protection - a lacquer coating, heavy duty aluminium foil, tear resistant polyester membrane, and a polymer enhanced bitumen adhesive. It has tear and impact resistance and is suitable for use on most building materials including brick, masonry, slates, metal, terracotta tiles, roofing felt, and more.
Bostik Flashband is easy to apply using hand pressure and a seam roller, no special equipment is required. It is an economic alternative to conventional cement Mortar, ideal for interior and exterior installation, repair, and maintenance projects. It is also suitable for paths and patios. The solvent-based protective coating that dries to form a tint-free bitumen film allows you to reassemble joint sections without waiting, ready to go and make for more than two minutes at 92.6°F to 94°F (39-34.4°C).
