This drive is a UHD-ROM (like any other UHD drive available, at the moment no manufacturer produces a UHD burner), you can not describe a 4K UHD Blu-ray Disc with it. There will be no firmware update or something similar to make this drive a UHD burner. You can NOT make a 1:1 backup copy of purchased 4K UHD movies and this is not planned or allowed for licensing reasons.
