Ziegler Kaspin Rug
These beautiful Oriental rugs are replicas of the highly popular Ziegler rugs that originate from ancient Persia. The pattern in the rugs originates from antique rugs and often have lighter colour schemes than other Oriental rugs. These well loved rugs have long been sought after mainly because they fit into most homes, modern and more traditional settings alike. The pile is made of a synthetic wool material with textile characteristics which give a soft and comfortable rug to walk on, that is easy to maintain and does not fluff.
Machine Made
Machine-knotted rugs are produced through thousands of reels of thread being fed into one giant mechanical loom, which quickly weaves the rug according to a chosen pattern. During production, which is carried out in fixed widths, different patterns and sizes can be produced simultaneously, which means minimal material waste generated once the machine is running. Once the rugs have been knotted, the various patterns and sizes are cut apart, after which they are trimmed/edged for the best possible durability.
Polypropylene
Artificial wool (Polypropylene) is made up of tightly twisted yarns in that give the rug a lively lustre. Polypropylene is a man-made fibre. Polypropylene has a high resistance to wear and can withstand heat well. Rugs produced using polypropylene are ideal for people with allergies to, for example, natural materials. The material is antistatic which means it does not shed fibres or attract dust and is easy to clean. The rug also has details made of polyester with a silky smooth surface that gives extra life to the pattern.
