ProRep Aspen Bedding is soft, dust-free, odourless and highly absorbent making it ideal for snakes, some lizards, birds and small mammals. Aspen Bedding is non-toxic shredded wood sourced from sustainable forests. The wood is harvested and shredded before drying. This process produces a soft, non toxic bedding ideal for species that like to burrow or nest. It is particularly suitable for many species of snakes and is used by professional breeders worldwide. ProRep Aspen Bedding should be used dry. It is highly absorbent and will quickly absorb water spillages or animal waste making spot cleaning quick and easy. DIRECTIONS: Spread the substrate evenly over the bottom of the enclosure to a depth of at least 1-2" (2.5-5cm). Spot-clean daily and completely replace every two or three weeks, or more frequently if it becomes heavily soiled or wet. If you are using an under-tank heat mat as your heat source, do not use a thick layer of Aspen as this may cause the heat mat to overheat.
