How to use the scale page
Unlike chords, scales are movable. So let look at the Major scale pattern on the chart. If you play this pattern with the Blue note (the Root) starting on the E string placed at the 5th fret (the A note), then you are playing the scale of "A Major". If you move that Blue root note to the 3rd fret and play it, now your playing "G Major". Another example. If you look at the Blues pattern, imagine the Blue starting note is at the Fret 7 on the low e string. Now your playing the "B" Blues Scale
