Can you use the tape outside?
Our tape will work outside but it is weather dependent - if it rains heavily where you are, you may have to replace the tape every so often.
How sticky is the tape?
Our tape uses mesh backing and our unique yellow adhesive. It's perfect for permanent, long-term repairs and we always recommend testing it out on a small, inconspicuous area of carpet before applying in bulk. Due to it's super strength, it can be tricky to cut so we recommend using a carpet knife.

We always recommend that you first try our carpet tape on a small, inconspicuous area of carpet as it is very sticky and difficult to re-arrange your rug once it's stuck.
Step by Step of How Best to Apply!
Tear the carpet tape to the length you want and apply to the area of carpet. If you are installing a carpet in a room, make sure to cover the perimeter in tape. Likewise, if you're installing onto stairs make sure the whole surface is covered in tape to ensure it is completely stuck. To stop your rug moving around, apply to all four sides around the perimeter.
Step by Step of How Best to Apply!
Smooth down the tape and peel away the backing. We recommend that you remove the backing and stick the carpet down a strip at a time rather than removing the backing from all the tape at once. This makes it easier to manoeuvre whilst sticking your carpet/rug down. Our tape is extremely sticky and can leave residue on scissors so we recommend using a carpet knife, other sharp cutting tool or simply tearing the tape. Press down firmly once you're happy with where your carpet/rug is.
