Enjoy coffee any time of day
Our coffees are great for any time of day and suitable for most coffee makers. From Bean to Cup machine, Chemex, French Press, Aeropress, V60 dripper and our favourite the French press. So pour yourself a strong coffee, sit back and savour the moment. And if you're enjoying our coffee, there are plenty of other flavours and aromas to discover from our range.
Brewing tips:
Grind
your coffee beans immediately just before use
to get the most flavour
Make sure your equipment is thoroughly clean and dry before use.
Whether you use a cafeti\xe8re, Aeropress, espresso machine, filter machine or stove-top, any coffee residue left in the equipment will add a bitter flavour to your coffee
Use the right amount of coffee.
How much coffee you use depends, of course, on your own preferences and your brewing method. As a general rule, 7 to 10 grams (1 dessert Spoon) of ground coffee for every cup (circa 170ml) of water represents the accepted ratio.
Use a warm mug.
Brewed coffee is best enjoyed immediately in a warmed mug or cup to maintain temperature. Warm milk also helps maintain temperature and flavour
Full of flavour
PEAK FLAVOUR - We aim for you to receive your coffee with peak flavour. Spiller & Tait 1 kg coffee beans and ground coffee are packed in bags specially designed to hold in all the rich aromas and let out CO2 for maximum flavour. Carefully reseal the bags after opening with a clip or elastic band to retain the coffee’s freshness and flavour. Or decant it into an air-tight container.
