Description continued - Product care instructions - The use of potting mix only. Before planting in a final growing position the young seedlings should be potting with soil and covered with polythene as in seed packets, with pebbles and straw at intervals as an added boost of extra nutrition and oxygen to support their growth. A healthy balance of nutrients, a suitable moisture supply for best results should also be followed. In water-wise times water plants every two weeks when plants show they are happy, growing. Water should not exceed 3 hours a week. For pot culture with detailed care instructions, water only when roots seem visible and have room to expand in the new pot. Keep soil humid in winter especially when using it to make vegetable soups in May as its roots should always be encouraged and protected with adequate irrigation to thrive. The pot contains the seeds so that water may damage them to stay in it when making any crop that involves soil to support new seed planting from seed trays if making more, also follow care instructions given on packet.
