Ryder is the leader, rescuer, and teacher of the Pups. He has heart, a can-do-spirit, and the skills PAW Patrol needs to get the job done!
During rescues, you can catch Ryder on his hi-tech ATV that transforms into an hovercraft and a snowmobile.
Ryder calls and leads the pups on missions to help the citizens of Adventure Bay.

Marshall
Marshall is the joker/clown of the group and tends to behave silly and clumsy.
He is very accident prone and usually crashes into things such as the pups at the Lookout elevator, which gives him the nickname "Bad Luck Marshall" from fans.
He is very excitable, a bit air-headed, and not particularly well co-ordinated.
Rubble
Although he can appear rather tough, Rubble is completely opposite.
He tends to be a bit emotional, and he is very soft for small animals, especially kittens. He sometimes likes to call small animals cute names like "witty bitty kitty."
He loves to laugh and is rather playful.
Chase
Being a police dog, Chase is very mature, possibly the most mature of the group.
He is definitely a leader, and takes things very seriously when on patrol, though has his ups and downs.
He can be very playful when there are no missions. He and Marshall\xa0are best friends and are competitive, but they do it just for fun.

Rocky
Rocky is a clever Eco-puppy. He reduces, reuses, and recycles anything he can find.
However, Rocky has aquaphobia (fear of water).
Sometimes, he has to face his fear, but he never seems to overcome it. However, he accepts being wet whenever he is turned into a mer-pup.
Zuma
Zuma is very laid-back and calm, though not as serious when it comes to duty as he is mature, but he is always loyal and has an abundant liking for Ryder.
He and Skye are unusually very competitive with each other.
Skye
Skye is fun-loving and loves to play and participate in fun activities with her fellow PAW Patrol friends such as Pup Pup Boogie.
She is very brave and smart and is the smallest of the pups. She is the first female member of the PAW Patrol.
