Materials Needed:
- Wooden Base
- Plaster of Paris Mix

Instructions:
1. First, mix the plaster of Paris powder with water according to the instructions on the package. Make sure you have a ratio of 1:4 (plaster of Paris mixture:water).
2. Once the mixture is ready, put on your gloves and wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
3. Apply the plaster of Paris mixture to your hands, using a brush or your fingers. Be sure to cover both hands completely.
4. Allow the plaster of Paris mixture to dry for 20-30 minutes.
5. After the mixture has dried, remove the gloves and carefully cut off the excess plaster around the edges with an x-acto knife.
6. Sand the edges smooth with sandpaper to avoid any sharp edges or rough spots.
7. Once you have completed step 6, mix the paint according to the instructions on the package and apply it to your hands using a brush or your fingers. Make sure to cover both hands evenly.
8. Allow the paint to dry completely before handling your keepsake.
9. Finally, measure your wooden base and glue it into place on a flat surface. Once the base is in place, use the measurements provided to attach your casted hands to the wooden base using the ruler or measuring tape.
