1. how much weight does it hold? - About 18kg.i have mine attached to door molding in my laundry room - pretty sturdy - I can hang up to 10 wet t-shirts on it with no problems. 2. Does it swivels 180 degrees? thanks! - Yes it does. 3. Can the swinging arm be removed from the part that's mounted on the door/wall when not in use? - Yes. 4. Is this sturdy enough to use for coats? - Yes, I believe so. You may have to skip every other separating post, to accommodate the thickness of a coat. Also, make sure you grab a stud on the wall, when installing. 5. Can this be mounted on a door? - Yes, but I would not on a hollow core door. 6. Are the posts tall enough to hang belts by their buckles? - I don't suggest to, i think they are only made for catching hangers
