- • UV-PROTECTIVE CANOPY: The canopy is made from hardwearing 180g polyester with a UPF 30+ rating to keep your skin well protected from the sun’s damaging ultraviolet rays. It also an air vent at the top to reduce wind pressure and prevent the wind pulling it upwards. The air vent also aids air flow to keep you nice and cool when you’re relaxing beneath it.
- • CRANK HANDLE & TILTING MECHANISM: Forget about wrestling with a fiddly pulley system because the parasol has a crank handle to easily raise and lower the canopy. Simply turn it one way to open the canopy and the other way to close it. It also has a lever which allows you to tilt the canopy at an angle and easily shield yourself from the low-lying sun.
- • LIGHTWEIGHT ALUMINIUM POLE: The pole is made from durable aluminium which is much lighter than steel to easily pick up and move around. The ribs have a hardwearing steel construction. UV Protective Canopy
The canopy is made from durable 180g polyester fabric which is water-resistant to keep you dry during lighter showers and rapidly dry when wet. It’s also rated UV30+ to protect you from the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays. Plus, it’s designed to block out glare from the sun.
Crank to Easily Open
We’ve designed the parasol with a crank handle to easily open and close its canopy. Simply wind the handle clockwise to open the canopy and block out sunlight. When your day in the sun is over, simply wind the handle anticlockwise to easily close the canopy.
Tilting Mechanism
The parasol has a tilt mechanism to shade you from the sun as it rises and sets. Simply press the button at the top of the pole to tilt the canopy and shade yourself from the low-lying sun. Perfect for enjoying an al fresco breakfast or relaxing in your garden as night slowly falls.
Air Vent to Aid Air Flow
We’ve designed the canopy with an air vent which allows air to circulate more freely beneath it and keep you cool in hot, humid weather. Plus, it helps to decrease the amount of uplift when the wind picks up. However, we suggest you avoid using the parasol in strong, heavy winds.
Aluminium Pole & Ribs
The pole and ribs are made from durable aluminium which is lighter than steel. This makes it easier to move the parasol around your garden when you’re relaxing in the sun. Although aluminium is rust-resistant, the pole and ribs are powder-coated to protect them from corrosion.
Easy to Assemble
The parasol comes in two sections which slot together for easy assembly. Simply slot the top pole into the bottom pole and it’s ready to use. It’s also easy to disassemble, allowing you to conveniently store it away when the summer’s over without it taking up valuable space.
Parasol Base Not Included
A base is not included, so you’ll need to buy one separately. If you’re using the parasol with a table, an 11kg base will keep it sufficiently weighted. However, if you’re using it without a table, we advise using a heavier 25kg base. The pole has a 38mm diameter to fit most bases.
