Description
6542 High speed steel ( also called M42 high speed steel) is a high-speed steel alloy with 8% or 10% cobalt, with superior red hardness than conventional high-speed steels, and less prone to chipping when used for interrupted cuts. 6542 High speed steel features high wear resistance, high toughness and high heat resistance, high cost performance, etc. The hardness can reach 64~66HRC after high precision quenching. The bending strength reaches 4700MPa.
