Description
Perfectly cooked rice
For particularly gentle preparation and perfectly cooked rice, the Digitale Reishunger rice cooker has a 7-phase cooking technology specially developed for rice. The digital rice cooker automatically activates the correct cooking phase one after the other: preheating, water absorption at medium temperature, heating phase, cooking phase, nutrient protection, short water absorption and finally the warming phase. In this way, nutrients are retained and the aroma can unfold in the best possible way.
Rice cooker as steam cooker
Thanks to the included steam insert, you can easily and gently cook vegetables, fish and seafood parallel to the cooking process using the rising steam.
Comfortable use
Anticipation is the most beautiful joy! With the timer function you can plan up to 24 hours in advance. Simply set the timer to the desired time, add rice and water and press the start button. As soon as the grain is cooked, the Digital Rice Cooker switches to keep warm mode - so you'll never burn the rice again while you're busy with other things. The digital display tells you how long the rice has been kept warm.
The modern display is simple and intuitive to use and ensures perfectly cooked rice - whether sushi rice, jasmine rice or wholemeal rice!

Rice for 1-8 persons
Our rice cooker has a filling volume of 1.5 l and can easily prepare 8 portions of rice. Thanks to its ingenious technology it always cooks perfectly cooked rice - no matter if you only want to prepare a small amount for yourself or if you invite your family or friends for a larger cooking session.
High quality inner pot
The high-quality inner pot consists of different layers, which ensure even heat distribution. The inner layer is made from ceramic with an anti-stick coating. Next follows a 2.0 mm thick aluminium alloy. From the outside the pot is covered with heat resistant bronze. The pot is designed to ensure perfectly cooked rice that doesn't stick to the bottom.
Easy cleaning
Goodbye to eternal cleaning. Cleaning our digital rice cooker requires neither much time nor effort. Simply wash off the removable inner pot and the small collecting container with warm water and a little detergent. The inside of the rice cooker can easily be wiped out with a sponge.
Reishunger 7-Phase Cooking Technology
Reishunger 7-Phase Cooking Technology for perfect rice
1. Preheating stage:
The digital rice cooker increases its temperature slowly and gradually until it reaches 50\xb0C.
2. Water absorption stage
: Once the digital rice cooker reaches a temperature of 60\xb0C -80\xb0C, the rice begins to absorb the water. This stage continues until the temperature reaches 80\xb0C. The slower the rise in temperature, the higher the quality of the finished rice. This stage therefore lasts longer if you choose one of the special rice settings.
3. Heating stage
: Once the rice absorbs the water, the digital rice cooker begins to heat up, bringing the water to a boil at 85\xb0C.
4. Cooking stage
: During the cooking stage, the digital rice cooker cooks the rice at a maximum temperature of 100\xb0C until the rice is done.
5. Nutrient absorption stage
: Once the rice is fully cooked, the digital rice cooker lowers the temperature to 90\xb0C. This is the perfect temperature for the cooked rice to reabsorb valuable nutrients from the water and seal these nutrients in the grains.
6. Loosening stage
: The digital rice cooker briefly keeps the temperature at ca 80\xb0C to allow for excess water to evaporate and the rice to become nice and fluffy.
7. Keeping warm stage
: Once all the excess water evaporates, the digital rice cooker automatically switches into \u201ckeep warm\u201d mode, ensuring the temperature of the rice stays at 65\xb0C.
