Description

Smartseal Solvent-Free Block Paving Sealer from Smartseal has been designed to prevent weeds from growing within the joints of block paving. Due to being a solvent-free block paving sealer and weed inhibitor, it emits no smell or fumes as a result of its solvent-free formulation. Largely effective, with ease of application, this sand hardener and block paving sealer inhibits the regrowth of weeds and moss and protect blocks. For optimum results to allow product to seep roughly 20mm into joints, apply at a ratio-dependent on the width of joints at 1.5 m2 per litre first coat, and approximately 4 m2 second coat. Ease of application by watering can & squeegee. Formulated to BS5750/ISO9001 standard.
Application guide;
For newly laid block paving. Apply as soon as possible.
For older block paving, make sure that the surface area is completely cleaned & bone dry.
Resand the joints on the block paving with 'Kiln Dried Sand'.
Pour sealer onto the surface in sections & use a squeegee to spread the sealer & soak into the sand.
Apply second coat within 1-2 hours of first coat.

How does it work?
Smartseal's Solvent-Free Block Paving Sealer is a professional grade solvent-free sealer. This sealer will harden freshly laid sand which will stop weeds from growing from the joints. It will also seal the blocks, which will protect from staining.

PLEASE NOTE:
Do NOT attempt to use the product in damp conditions. Otherwise, run the risk of getting a moisture reaction.
Temperatures must be between 13\xb0C and no higher than 23\xb0C.
If the Block Paving has been previously sealed, please use a sample on a test area to ensure compatibility.
Solvent-Free Block Paving Sealer CANNOT be applied to clay-based block pavers.
