How do I know if one of the hard drives is failing?
When one of the drives is damaged/failed, the corresponding indicator light will turn red and the enclosure will beep to warn.
How to replace a hard drive?
Firstly safely eject the hard drive enclosure from your PC and power off the case. Then pull out the hard drive and install the new HDD into its original position and power on the case.
Is it OK to connect to a PC through a hub?
It is recommended to connect the sata hdd enclosure directly to the PC as the connection through a hub may be unstable.
Is it hot swappable?
The multi bay hard drive enclosure can be hot-swapped to the PC, but it does not support hot-swapping to replace the HDD while the power is on, so please replace the HDD in the correct way.
