The Philips Shower Filter AWP1705 fits easily onto your shower hose and can be used right away.
The integrated filter reliably removes residual chlorine and impurities, such as rust and sediments. This process also softens mains water.
Practical, ergonomic and safe:
the compact shower head casing is made of high quality ivory white plastic and fits comfortably in your hand thanks to its ergonomic design. This anti-scold material has been optimised for use with hot water from conventional boilers, ensuring that it is always safe to use. The one piece filter design allows clean, straightforward filter replacement.
Constant water pressure:
the steady water flow rate of 6 L/m provides a comfortable shower experience. The gentle jet of water is suitable for babies and young children.
Effective against chlorine and impurities
Combats residual chlorine:
Free chlorine can be harmful or even carcinogenic. The CaSO3 filter system, which is integrated into the shower head, converts up to 99% of the chlorine contained in mains water into soluble harmless chloride. CaSO3 (calcium sulphite) is highly effective at reducing chlorine in mains water – in a warm water environment, it is even more effective than activated carbon.
Combats impurities:
Two integrated filter layers remove impurities such as sand, rust and sediment from the mains water.

In the bathroom, this means limescale deposits can very quickly build up on the shower walls or fittings.
