Duck canvas is a heavy, plain weave fabric made from cotton. Woven tighter than plain canvas, duck canvas is stiff, strong and a great material to create into art canvases for painting, bagmaking or screenprinting.
Duck canvas has a classic bobbled texture and natural colouring which lends itself to a farmhouse, rustic aesthetic when untouched with dye, patterns, print or paint.
When wax is added to duck canvas, this fabric becomes water-resistant.
