Handloom Rug
These carpets are made in Bhadohi, India using good quality wool which makes them soft and comfortable to walk on. A different kind of loom is used in the production process which makes the work faster than traditional carpet knotting. However, the newer method does not allow for advanced patterns so they are only available in single colours or simple geometric patterns. The value-for-money carpets are ideal for both a well-designed office or in a home with modern decor.
Handmade
Handtufted (handmade) rugs are made by hand using high quality raw materials, but rather than having knots that need to be tied, a special tufting gun is used to push loops of yarn through a scrim (pre-woven backing). The last stage in the production is trimming the pile to the desired length, thereby exposing the thread ends for a softer pile. This technique allows for a quick and effective process and gives the weaver more freedom and range to create detailed patterns and shapes otherwise restricted in handknotted carpets. The end result is a long lasting high quality carpet and affordable.
Wool
Wool is a natural textile fibre and one of the most sought after materials for rug making. Wool rugs are highly durable and perfectly capable of resisting wear and tear of every day use. Wool has a naturally dirt-repelling effect and is easy to keep clean. It is also flame resistant and characteristically retains its shape so that the pile of the rug always rises.

This rug has natural dirt repellent properties and is easy to keep clean. The material is also flame resistant and maintains its characteristic appearance for a long time because the pile always straightens and returns to its original state.
