    Description

    Finest Filters crushed coral filter media is a highly efficient biological filter media for use in marine tanks and freshwater tanks which need a higher pH such as African Cichlids. The size of each piece varies from 1cm to 6cm in size, so is quite a large size meaning it can be used in most external filter trays or sump tanks. Crushed coral is a natural pH buffer, and will help to buffer the water to a pH of 8.2-8.3. It will also help to buffer GH and KH levels. When using as a bio-media, we recommend using around 100g per 100 litres of water.
