Description
This is a 'Silver-Brazing' kit, comprising the following : 2 pieces - AG104 (45% Silver) - in rod form (1.0mm x 250mm long) - melting range - 640-680 deg C. Chemical Composition: Ag 45%, Cu 27%, Zn 25.5%, Sn 2.5% Included in the kit is 5gm of general purpose brazing flux powder with a working range of 500 - 750 deg C. This alloy is suitable for use most engineering metals and alloys including copper & copper alloys, brasses, steels, stainless steels, nickel alloys etc. This kit can be used for a wide variety of applications including heating and refrigeration repairs, model making, craft jewellery, car repair (such as radiators) etc. Its relatively high silver content makes it exceptionally fast flowing, and the high silicon content gives a very smooth fillet.
