Adjustable Neck & Body Strap
This Hound & Yard country dog jacket comes with a fully adjust neck and body strap. The neck strap is hook and loop so can be easily be fitted around your dogs neck and has an adjustable length of 10cm to ensure a snug fit. The body strap is fastened with a heavy duty quick release clip and is also fully adjustable.
Branding Close Up
As with all hound & yard products branding is important. This dog jacket features our white rubber Hound & Yard logo which is very robust and completely water proof. It also features Hound & Yard "jean style" buttons on both left and right sides of the jacket. This is a subtle yet super stylish jacket for your dog!
3 Extra Features
Corduroy Collar
Our designers decided to include a really snazzy corduroy collar with this dog coat which exemplifies the "country attire" look of the jacket. Its warm and soft and has been hand stitched to the quilting. This can be worn up or down depending if you want to give your dog the Elvis look or not!
Shower Proof
The coat is also shower proof. The outer shell is a treated polyester material and can withstand light rain. If you are out in heavy rain then this will soak through but it can be easily dried on a radiator. We appreciate that our dogs get muddy so you can easily wash the jacket at 30 degrees either by hand or in a washing machine on a hand wash setting.
Lined for Warmth
The jacket is lined with a soft material finished in blue and white strips. This offers enough warmth to your dog whilst out walking without them overheating.
What size do I buy?
Before you purchase one of our Hound & Yard coats, please measure your dog. Start by measuring his/her back from the neck to the start of the tail. This is he main measurement you need and will determine which size jacket you require. Our jackets are 35,45,55 and 65CM long. If your dog measures over one of these sizes, then go for the next size up. For example if your dogs back measures 50cm long then go for a 55cm jacket. The neck and underbelly straps are both fully adjustable to get a snug fit.

Brilliant autumn jacket for our Cavapoo
We got this for our 18 month old Cavapoo - he absolutely loves it! It fits perfectly and looks AMAZING. We completely love it and he's been wearing it in the rain (which is great, because it's somewhat water resistant). It's so easy to put on - a lot easier than other jackets he's had. The overall build quality is fantastic and we love the little collar. Totally recommend.
Quilted dog coat
Firstly this has a marked tag on the bag much higher than what i paid on Amazon. It is a lovely warm brown, very well sewn with some velcro fastening and a little collar. Warmly lined and adjustable, any dog would love this. Will be getting another for our bigger dog. Highly recommended.
Very easy to fit
Finding a coat to fit my whippet is not so easy, generally they are too large round the chest and too short in length. This however is ideal. The length is more than adequate, and the chest very versatile, so is easily adjusted to fit. Another big advantage of this coat is that it is so easy to put on a take off, simply drop it on puppies back and then fasten the neck and body fasteners, no feeding through of legs or head.
Absolutely gorgeous dog jacket
Absolutely gorgeous dog jacket! The finish and materials is top class. It has I lovely liner, and the two studs for the belt are well finished on the inside, and have nice detail on the outside. The material has a lovely sheen to it that shouts quality, the photos don't do it justice, and the cord collar sets it all off. Looking at the jacket it could've cost double and I wouldn't have felt short changed.
