1.Can I use the SLA batteries charger to charge the LiFePO4 batteries
We don't suggest you do as that even if SLA charger can offer power to the LiFePO4 batteries. As SLA chargers WILL NEVER fully charge a LiFePO4 battery or charge it ADEQUATELY enough to provide maximum lifespan and efficiency. Too much charging voltage for too long and you risk breaking down LiFePO4's internal electrolyte, too much charging current for too long and you shorten the lifespan of the cells.
2. Is it possible to mount with different orientation surfaces?
Yes, since the LiFePO4 batteries are dry cell batteries, you are able to operate it in any orientation.
3. If I buy multiple batteries and want to connect them in parallel do I need to balance it?
With all lithium batteries, it is best to fully charge them and then utilize them in series or parallel. The effects of different SOCs for batteries in a parallel system will always apply no matter how little the difference in voltage so getting them to 100% and discharging from there would be the best way to go about it. It is not recommended to mix serial and parallel operations at the same time. When connected in series or in parallel, the number of batteries should not exceed 3.
4. Is the battery waterproof?
The battery is sealed to prevent anything from getting inside but water can still short circuit the terminals if there is a connect made between both of them. Try to keep the battery shielded from water to prevent this from happening.
5. Can it be used as a starter battery?
No, this is not a starter battery and it cannot be used to crank the engine but if you are using it for auxiliary there should be no issues although you will wanna keep in mind how much current flows through the auxiliary.
