Activated carbon has excellent adsorption properties to odours thanks to its fine-pored surface, ideal for pet owners and smoking households. ECO-ready: This filter is also suitable for modern eco vacuum cleaners that must not exceed a maximum active power consumption of 1600 watts according to EU Regulation No. 66/2013 from 1 September 2014. HEPA Filtration: HEPA filter stands for "High Efficiency Particulate Air Filter". The filter retains 99.5% of all particles over 0.0003mm in size from the exhaust air, such as household dust, microscopic pests, bacteria, viruses, pollen, dust, aerosols and smoke particles. The multi-layer filter system effectively cleans the exhaust air, so it is cleaner than the normal room air. ANTI ALLERGENS: This filter is ideal for allergy sufferers as it absorbs even the smallest pests such as pollen, spores and household dust that can cause allergies in the respiratory tract. Important note: Depending on the model, your vacuum cleaner has been delivered factory with the thinner microfilter (AirClean Filter). To upgrade the vacuum cleaner to HEPA, please remove the filter grille and the AirClean filter and insert the HEPA filter at the same place. The filter grille is then no longer required.
