Description
The alarm has been designed to update many installations using FireAngel devices - making it the perfect for replacing ST-622, ST-620 and ST-750 alarms which you may currently have installed. This means you may be able to take down your current device with a simple twist, and install the new alarm in seconds. For a new installation, or when replacing a current FireAngel ST-625 product the new baseplate can be installed easily using two screws (not included).
Once installed please test the alarm by pressing the large central test button to ensure the alarm is fitted correctly and operational.
What alarm network do I need to protect my family and home?
To offer ultimate protection we advise a smoke alarm within the circulation area of each floor of the property, as well as within the main habitable areas such as bedrooms and living room. Install alongside heat alarms and carbon monoxide alarms for complete protection.
It’s important to remember that the sensors in all smoke alarms deteriorate after time, at FireAngel we recommend that smoke alarms are replaced every 10 years.
The advice is purely provided for practice in England and Wales alongside guidance in BS5839-6, for homes in Scotland please follow the guidance in the new regulations (this device is not suitable for installations in Scotland).
