On the 7th June 2020, a statue of Edward Colston was pulled down and thrown into Bristol Harbour. Jen Reid, who was attending the anti-racism protest, was spontaneously compelled to climb onto the empty plinth and raise her fist high above her head. This iconic image became one of the defining moments of 2020, and Jen has since herself been immortalised in a statue.
