Description
IMPORTANT: The Bright Source LED T8 tubes can be installed and operated in two ways:
If your existing fitting uses magnetic control gear (also known as a switchstart ballast) and a starter, the replacement is simple; replace the existing starter with the LED starter provided, then easily remove the existing tube in the fitting and replace with the Bright Source LED Tube.
If your existing fitting uses a high frequency electronic ballast with no starter, this will require re-wiring to bypass the ballast so the tube is wired direct to the mains. We would advise this is carried out by a qualified electrician.
ENERGY SAVING
LED T8 tubes are a fantastic way to improve the efficiency of your existing fittings or as an addition to new LED batten fittings or non-corrosives. They are 2.5 times more efficient than the old-style T8 fluorescent tubes they are made to replace so provide a substantial saving on energy.
ROBUST AND DURABLE
