Rosemullion Distillery - Award Winning Handcrafted Cornish Spirits
Handcrafted Gin and Rum from the heart of Cornwall
Our business is directly influenced by the area of outstanding natural beauty in which we are fortunate enough to live and work. The Helford rainwater used in the fermentation and distillation process is complemented by local Cornish ingredients, including seasonal fruit from our own orchard and vines, ripened by the Cornish summer sun.
As a small business we are committed to being protectors and perfecters of the distillers’ craft, and so take our role as artisan-producers very seriously. To ensure quality control we only make 100 bottles at a time, and all our spirits are produced by hand using our bespoke copper still.
The Rosemullion Distillery team is made up of family and friends who not only share the harvesting, bottling and labelling processes, but enjoy drinking it too. This is one of the reasons why the growing success of our family business is down to something basic but essential: loving our produce.

Description
Carrying a light spice & botanical flavour profile with deeper notes coming from the source molasses – lightly sweetened with no caramel
Inspired by the salty air and stormy seas that crash against the coastline of Cornwall. Made using a blend of botanicals found along the coast, and seaweed from the shoreline.
A fresh gin with a citrus kick, infused with Cornish elements to provide a refreshing yet warming gin – perfect for summer evenings.
An autumnal gin, made with apples and plums from the distillery’s orchard. Hints of raspberries, blackberries, and sloe.
The nose starts off with tropical pineapple, mango and slightly overripe generic tropical fruit. There are light floral notes, and a lovely citrus lemon and lime aroma note.\u201d – World Rum Awards, gold medal winner in 2020
100% single pot distilled rum, aged with a perfect balance of spices to complement the Cornish rum.
The perfect serve
A smooth easy drinking rum that works with ice
As this is quite a peppery gin, it works really well as a simple G&T – served with premium Indian tonic water and a slice of lemon. Try serving with a little dried sea spaghetti in a high ball for a different taste.
As it’s a lighter gin, it works really well with Fevertree Mediterranean Tonic, with a couple of fresh raspberries or a strawberry to garnish.
This gin has a strong fruity, warm flavour. It works really well with a good quality tonic and a slice of apple for garnish – but equally can be enjoyed with lemonade if you prefer

Works well in a simple rum and coke – but we enjoy it with a good ginger ale and a squeeze of fresh lime.

received consistently high scores from Judges.
The Gin Guide state that ‘the quality of entries and the calibre of Judges were so high this year’, which is why Rosemullion Distillery views this Flavoured Gin 2022 Award for its Rosemullion Summer Gin as a particularly notable achievement.
Rosemullion Distillery is also thrilled to announce the haul of awards given to us at the Sip Awards 2022.
As this is the only internationally recognised consumer judging spirits competition (where the buyers decide the awards) we are incredibly excited at their response. 3 Platinum
wins for our Rosemullion’s Harvest Gin, Dark Rum and Dry Gin, including Best in Class for the Harvest Gin. They also gave us 1 Double Gold
for our Summer Gin and 5 other Gold Awards.
One of Our favourite Ways to Drink Rosemullion Dark Rum - Old Fashioned cocktail
To make this Rosemullion favourite, simply add two dashes of Angostura bitters and a sugar cube to a glass with a single ice cube and stir. Add more ice, 25ml of our Dark Rum and stir, then add another 25ml Dark Rum, top with ice, add orange peel, and stir again. Enjoy!
A Classic Negroni with a Cornish Twist
Did you know there is an official Negroni Week?
Here is a classic Negroni recipe, using our Cornish Dry Gin. Simply mix 25ml measures of our Dry Gin, sweet vermouth and Campari into a mixing jug filled with ice. Strain into a glass with ice, garnish with orange, and don’t forget to say cheers!
