What are Nyloc nuts?
The name Nyloc is short for Nylon insert lock nut, Nyloc nuts feature a nylon collar in the top of the nut that locks the nut in place by squeezing the threads of the bolt as the nut is tightened preventing it from loosening.
Corrosion Resistant Materials.
Zinc plated steel nuts and bolts have been treated with a layer of Zinc, the solid layer of Zinc over the surface shields the underlying steel from oxidation. This gives Zinc plated nuts and bolts a longer lifespan compared to untreated steel fasteners.
Why Cardboard Boxes?
We are committed to reducing our plastic usage. Due to the high volumes of fasteners we sell every day, we made the decision to only use cardboard boxes to ensure our business makes less impact on the environment. We do use a small amount of bubble wrap inside the boxes, for the protection of the product, however we are always looking for new ways to decrease our impact.
